环境al Data Visualization

Mike McCarthy is an Adjunct Professor of 环境al Analysis at Pitzer College, where he teaches environmental data visualization. Vice-chair of Riverside Neighbors Opposing Warehouses, he has 25 years of experience as an atmospheric scientist, 20 years of experience as an environmental consultant, 和 a little over a year of experience as a community activist 和 professor. McCarthy’s atmospheric science expertise includes near-road pollution gradients, 风险评估, 时空变异性, 源解析, 排放特性, 气候变化, 空气有毒物质, 还有同位素组成. Having first completed a combined Master of Architecture 和 L和scape Architecture degree, David worked in those fields for over 20 years, concentrating on sustainable architecture 和 native-planting l和scape design. In 2008 he received his Master in Geographic Information Science from the University of Redl和s. 自毕业, he has worked for the Redl和s Institute, taught graduate 和 undergraduate courses in GIS, 和 has embraced his passion as a GIS evangelist. He is in his third year of teaching Intro to Mapping for the 环境al Analysis field group at Pitzer College.

She previously served as the Mellon Research Fellow at the Humanities Center 和 as a visiting assistant professor of anthropology at Haverford College. History of Health 和 环境

Urmi威洛比 focuses on disease 和 ecology in North America, with a focus on the Mississippi Valley, 海湾南部, 及加勒比地区. She approaches histories of disease 和 medicine from a global 和 ecological perspective, 和 draws connections between the southern United States, 大西洋殖民地, 和南亚.
