资格
Students must be in good standing at Pitzer College and have a 2.0 or higher GPA. Preference is given to juniors and first semester seniors but qualified sophomores are eligible if space is available. Exchange students can take courses taught in French, in English or select a combination of courses in French and English. Students who wish to take any social science or humanities course in French at 科学博 must have completed the equivalent of four semesters of college-level French and attained a minimum B2 French level (upper intermediate).
准备
At least one content course of preparation is strongly recommended. Courses in European area studies can meet this condition. Other general preparation options include: Comparative Politics, Intercultural Communications, Introduction to Inter国家/ Intercultural Studies, Introduction to Sociocultural Anthropology, or the World Since 1492.
应用程序
Students must first apply through Pitzer’s Office of 出国留学 and Inter国家 项目. If accepted by Pitzer, students will then be asked to complete the 科学博 application.

Required Courses
Participants are expected to take a full course load including a French language course and at least one course with content on French history, 政治, literature or culture. In addition, students will take the Pitzer course MLLC110 Intercultural Learning: Portfolio Writing 通过酒井法子.
Intensive Language
All students are expected to take a French language course.

Regular university students must take a full course load of 30 ECTS while at 科学博 in order to earn four course credits at Pitzer. In addition, students will earn 0.5 Pitzer course credits for the writing course 通过酒井法子. (See above under Required Courses.)
Housing and Board Options
Pitzer requires students to live with host families. (The host family program is not overseen by 科学博, but rather by a third party provider specializing in host family 项目 in the city of Paris).
